Qatar Ministry of Interior ( MOI) achieves certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 10015
Ministry of Interior - Qatar (MOI) lead by example and demonstrated commitment to excellence by achieving ISO 9001 and ISO 10015 certification to their Quality and HR department. This certification is a testament to the highest standards in quality and service extended by MOI.
Under the patronage of H.E Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, represented by Brigadier Bader Ibrahim Al-Ghanim / Head of Minister of Interior’s Advisory Office, Brigadier Huseein Hasan Al Jaber / Head of HR, Brigadier Abdallah Khalifa Al Muftah / Head of PR and Colonel Abdelrahman Majed Al Sulaiti Director of Strategic Planning quality department, MOI received the certificate on the 6th of January during a prestigious ceremony held at the Intercontinental the City Doha- Qatar. More than 100 people joined the event to celebrate the moment and received their personal training certificates.
His Excellency Nicholas Hopton, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Qatar from the UK, presented the certificate to Brigadier Huseein Hasan Al Jaber / Head of HR representing MOI in the presence of BSI General Manager Omar Rashid.
“I am therefore delighted that the Ministry of Interior recognizes the importance of standards, in this case, ISO 9001 and ISO 10015 Certification. British innovation is leading the way in this very important area. We attach great importance to international best practice standards. BSI employs standard based solutions, following international best practice.
UK has global recognition of high standards creation, adoption and implementation. We are therefore very glad that British Standards has a role to play in supporting Qatar achieve its 2030 vision. On his turn BSI Qatar General Manager, Omar Rashid congratulated MOI for this big achievement

I remember first meeting with the Ministry’s management, where BSI listened and understood the challenges the Ministry of Interior had at the time. We carefully put in place a solution, together with the Ministry, to meet those challenges, and began on a journey which to date has had many key milestone moments and the result, is why we are all here today, to celebrate in the achievement of the Ministry of Interior. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every employee involved in this project for their hard work and commitment.
